No definitive answer has been found yet. The possibilities of a clothes eating bacteria or chemical or lasers are being investigated, but they have concluded, with absolute certainty, that this was no camera trick.
From what I can tell, it seems that the house (and maybe the neighborhood) is possessed by something paranormal or supernatural that seems to take a liking for stealing women's clothes. Did anyone ever find out who was behind this or where their clothes disappeared to?
